If you are starting a new business and moving into a new offices to let Birmingham complex then one thing that will deciding sooner rather than later is the tea and coffee making rota. Are people responsible for making their own cups, do you make cuppas in departments or is there someone who is going to be in charge of tea making for the whole office?
This could cause problems if there are some who drink a lot more tea or coffee than others and if there’s someone who only has one cup a week. Should that person have to make 2 cups everyday so that they get there’s the following week? Most offices will devise a rota that will work for them and some office workers may opt out and stick to making their own if it doesn’t work for them. Once you’ve opted out though there’s no going back so don’t expect a cuppa when it’s being made for others.
But making the drinks is only the start of the disagreements as you’ll see in the next blog post...
