Last week we blogged about famous people from the city of Birmingham and we though we'd do another with two more notable and diverse celebrities flying the flag for Birmingham.

Ozzy Osbourne

The front man of heavy metal band Black Sabbath, Ozzy is well known for his random mumblings in the distinctive Brummie accent. Having sold over 100 million albums worldwide as a member of Black Sabbath and as a solo artist, he was a pioneer of the heavy metal scene and still is today. He also become popular to a wider audience when in the early 2000’s, he starred in a reality show with the rest of his family which followed their rather chaotic domestic lifestyle.

Richard Hammond

The presenter of the popular BBC car show Top Gear and born in Solihull, Hammonds passion for cars has a history in his family since he is the grandson of workers in the Birmingham car industry. Nicknamed “Hamster” by his fellow presenters, he has also branched out to other TV shows including science shows for children’s television and a tea time daily discussion show.
